Well I set a goal and I know I am getting closer but not fast enough. Tomorrow is weigh in day and I think I may have lost a few more pounds. I am starting a boxing style workout series with my fiance! So happy to have him to guide me through this. Now to find time to work out with him while the baby sleeps...
Happy work out everyone!
This is my whole body work out from today:
30 jumping jacks
10 squats
10 side lunges
50 butt kickers
20 crunches
20 glute kickbacks
10 push ups
10 tricep dips
:20 plank
repeat 3 times!

Setting Goals and Getting Fit!
Another aspect of this journey with Charlotte was the derailment of my fitness during the later part of pregnancy. Well, today I started back up (slow but steady). Three weeks post-baby and I am only 15 lbs from pre-pregnancy weight but it seems that I lost a ton of my muscle.
I find that setting short term goals and being accountable is the best way to get started working out again.
Today, I started a month long push up challenge and did some of the Full-Body Meltdown from BackOnPointe. Unfortunately my body is not quite ready for mountain climbers or burpees yet. I will get there :)
Thankfully my fiance is supportive and takes care of little Charlotte during this time. But she is normally my workout partner for walking and jogging. Hopefully we get out tomorrow, as it is not suppose to rain.
Happy Workouts Everyone!

Christmas Crafts and Yummy Kitchen Baking
As the holidays near I am working on putting together some homemade gift baskets this year. I want to spend as little money but make meaningful gifts. I found this really cute idea for bath baskets with sugar scrubs, body lotions, bath fizzies and body scrubs. Has anyone tried these???
I need to figure out when I would need to make everything. Scheduling and organization is my newest friend. I start my second course in my Master's program next Sunday, have a month old baby girl, starting to help out my father-in-law when needed for office management and planning our wedding. We are very busy.
Any suggestions for gift ideas are welcome!
Here is what I found so far:
Excited to get started making great homemade gifts this year.
Adjusting to Life...
Well, I am fairly new to the blogging atmosphere but as a new stay at home mom I am looking for a new way to harness all this new information. I am an early childhood educator who left my job a couple months ago and welcomed a baby girl (Charlotte) into the world at the beginning of August. I am fairly crafty and enjoy trying new things.
Life has been an adjust with two energetic dogs, a 3 week old, and two playful kittens in our one bedroom apartment. Between searching for a new home and surviving off one income, I have turned to new journeys to save money, make money, and get creative with Christmas coming this year.
Here is a picture of our crew- minus the little one.
